Celeste Rodriguez was the Mayor of San Fernando and hopes to continue the legacy of Luz Rivas. In her capacity as Mayor, she actively works with Water Education for Latino Leaders (WELL) and has paid particular focus on addressing organic waste reduction issues because of the landfills surrounding her community. Rodriguez is interested in addressing nitrate contamination in constituents' drinking water, poor air quality, and creating more cooling centers in her district.
