AB 263 – Assembly Water, Parks, and Wildlife Committee

Scott and Shasta River Instream Flows

This bill would extend the emergency regulations adopted by the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) on the Scott and Shasta River Watersheds to remain in place until permanent instream flow rules are adopted. Without immediate efforts to address low water flows, native salmon face extinction–threatening ecosystems and communities that depend on them.
